Hey loves!
Just so you know, I'm a reformed style blogger. And every now and then you'll see a style post. I mean, I still wear clothes even if you don't see photographs of them everyday. :-)
This particular outfit is what I wore to church this past Sunday. It was the day after I'd seen the incredible film Selma. It's safe to say I was moved. In the moments where I wasn't sobbing uncontrollably because of the events of the movie, I was reaching over to tell my mom how much I loved Corretta Scott King's suit or Amelia Boynton's glasses (played by Carmen Ejogo and Lorraine Toussaint respectively). And though I've always been in love with the style of this era, seeing it in this setting, at this point in my life just inspired me.
So, I grabbed a pencil skirt I've had for three months and couldn't style and instantly knew what to do with it. Inspiration is a cool thing, huh?

Always in love,
I'm a huge fan of animal prints. All of the colors work really well together and look great on you. :)

Thanks Kashara!
ReplyDeleteI used to be afraid of animal prints, but when I discovered how they really could make an outfit pop I got over that!
